Terry Healey to Discuss his book “The Resilience Mindset” – The Source

Roundabout Books will host Bendite Terry Healey to discuss his new book, “The Resilience Mindset”, written for anyone who is feeling marginalized or facing challenges who is looking for stronger coping skills. “The Resilience Mindset” offers an actionable framework to overcome adversity and create a more fulfilling life. The event takes place at Roundabout Books on Sept 11 at 6:30 pm.

In addition to Healey’s own harrowing story, “The Resilience Mindset” offers evidence-backed research and stories from others who overcame seemingly insurmountable odds, including paralysis, traumatic brain injury (TBI), severe dyslexia, burn injuries, and other adversities. “The Resilience Mindset” provides more than inspiration; it provides readers with the tools to build their own survival kits to take on the smallest and biggest obstacles, leading to a more fulfilling life.

Healey’s book combines case studies, research, and seven practical exercises to help readers overcome challenges, rebuild confidence, and achieve greater success and purpose in life and work.

A survivor of a life-threatening cancer that left him with a permanent facial difference, Terry Healey is an author, keynote speaker, and business strategist. A graduate of UC Berkeley with a thirty-five-year career as a marketing executive, Terry challenges audiences to face adversity and change, and apply his framework and principles to gain confidence, build resilience, and find joy in their personal and professional lives.
